Just spent thanksgiving in Cleveland Ohio and hung up some softies.
now for the next one, i was running around west side market looking for a dead pig… but i ended up putting it at Bistrickys cause the girl pulled out a lamb head. I did however find a pig, and posted a picture of it too for y’all. sorry to all the vegetarians out there (like my partner Owl_or_Nothing)
That’ll do pig… that’ll do
SewJaBoy out.
I went up to Sacramento to visit SewJaboy this weekend and Saturday afternoon we decided to come up with a little craft graffiti to hang that night when we wandered around for Second Saturday. Here’s our spur of the moment creations.
SewJaboy made a bear flag.
It found a home in front of Bows and Arrows
He also made a little tile mosaic.
We placed it in the window ledge @ Vox
SewJaboy has been asking about how you make quilt squares, so I made a little 8×8 quilted square. I made it quick so my corners are not precise enough, oh well.
This little gem found it’s home in front of Old Soul at The Weatherstone.
First up is a sewn shark and some fish that i shoved some magnets in. I wanted to put it up by zuda yoga here in Sacramento, cause it gets a lot of traffic, and to show rachel that i am doing stuff… though not being productive on my alter egos t-shirts (i am shrouded in mystery haha). Anyway… i couldn’t get it to stick to the railroad crossing sign, so i found a metal box down the street.

shark outside (lost a fish somewhere en route):

Here are a couple construction paper gnomes. I looked like an idiot lamenting them at Kinkos.

oh and here is a random sign for a lost rhino. guess I’ll throw it on the post as well.

I got 2 more lamented gnomes in my backpack… don’t know if i’ll get back to kinkos to make more, though i do think they are fun. OK folks, hope everything is going well for y’all.
SewJaBoy out!
We had an awesome time last night at the Lightbox SF show. And the trees of sea creatures were lots o’fun.
We hung a little knitting graffiti outside the first ever Lightbox SF Craft Hour. It was lots o’fun and the knitting stuck around all night.
We were lucky enough to get featured in an article about knitting graffiti written by Jodi Broadwater for the Columbia News Service. A picture of Owl_Or_Nothing’s bike lock even got included.
We got asked a couple of weeks back to do an interview for Yarnbombing. The interview is up, so check it out!
A big thanks to the folks at Yarnbombing for seeking us out and asking us to do this!
Peptogirl posted some pics of our work outside of IndieSacramento last weekend.

I finally got over to sara jane and co. to put up the “fugly virus” flag. why the fugly virus? honestly that’s what has been plaguing my work recently. I blame the fugly virus, it has raided my sewing machine, like french on fries. ain’t no joke, its science, just ask my dad, he’s a podiatrist. or better yet google that shit. if it doesnt come up, you gotta work on ur google skills. Anyway, i gotta find what i did with the other pic… so for the time being here is the flag all hung up. Oh and i am really excited about the new waterproof (i think) life ring i made, i think i have to make a few before i unleash them. they take so long though! especially cause i gotta hang em from the ceiling to finish sewing. anyway, that has nothing to do with this post. err half post cause im missing a picture. ok, later. -SewJaboy
We’ll be putting up more arts and crafts goodness this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled!
