I was reading the novel ‘Gator a-go-go’ by my favorite author Tim Dorsey, and came across a funny line when two charachters were talking and one said that “some things are worth vomiting for” and the other charachter replied, “I think I’ve seen that crocheted on a pillow.” I guess this is more like hand stitche or embroidery… I don’t… I don’t know these things, but I thought I should bring this imagery to life. not sure what I’m going to do with it yet, but here it is freshly stuffed. enjoy.

Just spent thanksgiving in Cleveland Ohio and hung up some softies.
now for the next one, i was running around west side market looking for a dead pig… but i ended up putting it at Bistrickys cause the girl pulled out a lamb head. I did however find a pig, and posted a picture of it too for y’all. sorry to all the vegetarians out there (like my partner Owl_or_Nothing)
That’ll do pig… that’ll do
SewJaBoy out.
saw this post in the arts calendar, it is a call for small textiles (2″ – 6″) in shapes of stones, kelp, anemone, barnacles, octopi, crabs, shells and other related flora and fauna, due January 15th, 2010. The project will be exhibited at the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge on Kodiak Island to raise awareness to the importance of our coastal waters. We’re gonna participate, you should too!

So we are slowly joining the current century. A couple of weeks back we got a facebook fan page. Now, we’ve made the crazy leap into the world of twitter, where you can follow us at @DSP_graffiti.
We’ve created a fan page on facebook. You should become our fan!
We were lucky enough to get featured in an article about knitting graffiti written by Jodi Broadwater for the Columbia News Service. A picture of Owl_Or_Nothing’s bike lock even got included.
We got asked a couple of weeks back to do an interview for Yarnbombing. The interview is up, so check it out!
A big thanks to the folks at Yarnbombing for seeking us out and asking us to do this!

I’m working on an installation piece and am hunting for CDs and/or DVDs.
Let me know if you have any scratched up ones that are just laying around the house taking up space, that you would be willing to donate to a reduce, reuse, recycle piece.
here is a pic of me (SewJaboy) working on a new flag to replace the other one. I think it’s going to have something to do with infected blood cells or something. I don’t know, that’s what it reminds me of so far. so i cut out an Rx stencil too.
and here is a pic of the boxing gloves before we put ‘em out.
Sara Jane (of Sara Jane & Co.) just reported to us that the flag in front of her store is no longer. Bummer!
I was just informed that a windsock is still hanging near tapa the world! that’s it…. that’s all i got… it was exciting to hear at the time.
