My girlfriend and i just spent the weekend in Bodega Bay, where Alfred Hitchcock filmed The Birds. So i thought it seemed fit to put out a couple of my own. Made me up some bird windsocks, and a little stuffed bird…
i watched this one for a bit, and nobody seemed to notice. it even hit a lady in the head and she didn’t flinch. Came back a couple hours later and it was… still there. Went back the next day… gone. Same with the next one that i put up at a wind sock store haha, i couldn’t help myself.
It almost blends in! heck it’s better than that little one on the third pole from the left. I wonder what they did with it, cause it was a whole different set of windsocks the next day. That had to be a confusing moment. Next up is the church from the birds or you may recognize it from an Ansel Adams photograph…
ta-da! If only i went prepared to craft bomb on more vacations. That’s going to be my new years resolution, but I’ll try and start now. Lets see, whats my next vacation… oh! Beautiful Cleveland Ohio… yeah not a top tourist destination. But i guess i could maybe sew a guitar for the rock and roll hall of fame… (narrator voice) will he come through and do this? Stay tuned.

First up is a sewn shark and some fish that i shoved some magnets in. I wanted to put it up by zuda yoga here in Sacramento, cause it gets a lot of traffic, and to show rachel that i am doing stuff… though not being productive on my alter egos t-shirts (i am shrouded in mystery haha). Anyway… i couldn’t get it to stick to the railroad crossing sign, so i found a metal box down the street.

Here are a couple construction paper gnomes. I looked like an idiot lamenting them at Kinkos.
oh and here is a random sign for a lost rhino. guess I’ll throw it on the post as well.
I got 2 more lamented gnomes in my backpack… don’t know if i’ll get back to kinkos to make more, though i do think they are fun. OK folks, hope everything is going well for y’all.

So most of the stuff I put up is at random locations I am unaffiliated with and usually stuff I create, however I felt I should post this.
The bike lock up area at the office
Where I work has been jeopardized. The theifs found out that our gate sucks, and some folks use shoddy bike locks. So I came up with a fool proof plan.
I purchased a beware of dog sign and zip tied it to the gate. Though it may be fairly obvious there is no dog in there, they actually might stop for a second look before barging in. That is funny enough for me. We’ll see how long building management let’s it stay up.

OwlorNothing and i have been really busy as of late, with finals and traveling, but i did manage to sew a couple things for the Indie Sacramento Truck show and Craft Bazaar, and give ‘em to Peptogirl (thanks again for meeting up with me like that p.s. did you see that accident i almost caused! ha) SO GO CHECK OUT ALL THE CRAFTNICITY we’re not going to be there, we gots to keep to our mysterious ways. I finally got over to sara jane and co. to put up the “fugly virus” flag. why the fugly virus? honestly that’s what has been plaguing my work recently. I blame the fugly virus, it has raided my sewing machine, like french on fries. ain’t no joke, its science, just ask my dad, he’s a podiatrist. or better yet google that shit. if it doesnt come up, you gotta work on ur google skills. Anyway, i gotta find what i did with the other pic… so for the time being here is the flag all hung up. Oh and i am really excited about the new waterproof (i think) life ring i made, i think i have to make a few before i unleash them. they take so long though! especially cause i gotta hang em from the ceiling to finish sewing. anyway, that has nothing to do with this post. err half post cause im missing a picture. ok, later. -SewJaboy
fugly virus flag
here is a pic of me (SewJaboy) working on a new flag to replace the other one. I think it’s going to have something to do with infected blood cells or something. I don’t know, that’s what it reminds me of so far. so i cut out an Rx stencil too.

I was just informed that a windsock is still hanging near tapa the world! that’s it…. that’s all i got… it was exciting to hear at the time.
